Koshi Wind Chimes
The original Koshi® chime, developed by Kabir in France is an authentic musical instrument, an genius creation of high quality. Hand made at the famous Koshi workshop at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship.
The chimes are a very nice gift for everbody that loves their relaxing sound and used by soundhealers worldwide. Newborn babies and young children love them, too. Each chime produces a warm and soft tone. If you hang them in a tree or a spot were a gentle breeze blows you will find the sound very calming.
Koshi® Wind Chimes – The Four Elements
Every Koshi® wind chime is handcrafted in France at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the workshop of Kabir, the inventor of the Koshi chimes. The resonance body is made from bamboo veneer treated with natural oil – more durable than natural bamboo and acoustically exceptional. Eight chime bars are precisely fixed to a metal plate at the base. Through exact tuning, a clear, overtone-rich sound emerges: the overtones of the shorter bars gradually come forward, forming a circular tone structure that makes the Koshi sound truly unique. When the chime is moved in a circular motion by its cord, a clear, calming tone is produced that invites a moment of stillness and mindfulness. Outdoors, moved by the wind, a natural, spontaneous melody unfolds.
